The West Virginia Money Market Pool was created as the primary vehicle for the investment of state and local government operating funds. The objective of the Pool is to maintain sufficient liquidity to meet the needs of participants while striving to earn a return above inflation. The Pool risk factor is low and managed through numerous maturity restrictions, diversifications, guidelines, and credit limits.
